Consumers are protected.
Congruit is an information services provider that provides insight into consumer payment history for the lending and financial services community. The information Congruit provides does not help or hurt your credit score because your credit score is reported by the three traditional major credit bureaus.
Have you received an adverse action notice, or been denied a loan, based on information contained in a Congruit consumer report? If so, please fill out the Adverse Action Consumer Report Request to obtain a copy of your report. We will send you a copy of your report—free of charge—once the company receives your completed request form and a copy of your driver's license.
You can also obtain your free annual credit report from the three traditional major credit bureaus: Experian, Equifax and TransUnion.
All consumers are eligible to receive a free copy of their credit report once every twelve months in accordance with the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions Act (FACT Act).

Identity Theft and Fraud
If you suspect that you have been or are about to become a victim of fraud or a related crime, including identity theft, you may contact the nationwide consumer reporting agencies to request a fraud alert or other alerts permitted under the Fair Credit Reporting Act be placed in the files such companies maintain on you.
If you are a victim of identity theft, you should contact the Federal Trade Commission’s Identity Theft Hotline to obtain more detailed information about how to protect yourself and recover from identity theft and to file an identity theft complaint.
By sharing your identity theft complaint with the FTC, you will provide important information that can help law enforcement officials across the nation track down identity thieves and stop them. The FTC can refer victims’ complaints to other government agencies and companies for further action, as well as investigate companies for violations of laws the agency enforces.
You can file a complaint online at www.ftc.gov/idtheft by phone through the FTC’s Identity Theft Hotline, toll-free: 1-877-IDTHEFT (438-4338); TTY: 1-866-653-4261; or write: Identity Theft Clearinghouse, Federal Trade Commission, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20580.

If you are concerned about identity theft, data breaches, or someone gaining access to your credit report without your permission, you might consider placing a credit freeze on your credit report.
Also known as a security freeze, this free tool lets you restrict access to your credit report, which in turn makes it more difficult for identity thieves to open new accounts in your name.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
